What to see in Parione

A big chunk of the district is taken up by Piazza Navona, built on the foundations of what was once the Stadium of Domitian. You'll also find churches like the Chiesa Nuova and the famous Via Giulia, a historic street made for strolling and shopping.
Piazza Navona is a popular meeting spot, not just for Romans but for the many tourists who come by every day. The atmosphere around its striking fountains invites you to linger over an aperitivo or a dessert at one of the many cafés lining the square.
Not far away you'll find one of Rome's greatest monuments: the Pantheon.
Campo de' Fiori

Parione is also home to the bustling market at Campo de' Fiori, just south of Navona. The square of Campo de' Fiori stands where a pretty meadow once lay, and it was the setting for many public executions.
These days, besides the popular market at Campo de' Fiori where you can buy fruit, vegetables, pasta, wine and plenty more, the square fills up in the early evening with young travelers and locals who have turned it into a meeting point, probably helped along by the cheap bars all around.

South of Campo de' Fiori lies Rome's Jewish Quarter, where you'll find Jewish restaurants serving delicious specialties. Like many of Rome's neighborhoods, this one puts you within walking distance of Trastevere.
Go ahead and get lost in these streets to discover some of the area's other gems, like the Chiesa Nuova, the Barracco Museum of Ancient Sculpture and Piazza dei Biscione, a charming little square where you can sit down for a drink or cool off with a gelato.
